About Floral & Nature-Inspired Art
Each of these floral murals is created using a 50mm base stone with hand-chiseled layers, adding up to 100mm of total depth. I personally ensure the lighting grooves are pre-cut into the stone, so when you add your own LED strips, the shadows make the petals look alive. This is not just a wall panel; it is a permanent stone sculpture that changes its look as the light shifts throughout the day.
When I carve a lotus, a rose, or a Tree of Life in stone, I am looking for more than just a shape. I want the wall to feel like it is breathing. Most of my floral murals use a layered approach. We start with a solid sandstone base, and then I add hand-carved floral elements on top to reach a total depth of 100mm to 200mm. This creates real shadows that shift as the day goes on, something a flat panel simply cannot do.
Why use stone for nature art?
Unlike plaster or wood, natural sandstone or marble does not crack or warp with humidity. Whether it is a puja room mural of the Tree of Life or a tropical leaf feature in your staircase, these pieces are solid. I treat every surface with a professional stone sealant before dispatch so that dust does not settle in the intricate carvings, making maintenance just a matter of a quick wipe with a cloth.
Installation and Lighting
Lighting is the secret to making these pieces pop. I always pre-cut channels behind the stone layers for your electricians to run LED strip lights. If you are planning a feature wall, tell me your wall size first. I sketch the layout, render a 3D view, and only then do we start the carving using my CNC machines for the base and hand-chiseling for the organic petal textures. Whether you want a single massive flower or a sprawling vine pattern across your lobby, we can customize the stone type and the depth to fit your space perfectly.
