About Lippan Art: Mud & Mirror Craft
Don't worry about getting your hands dirty. In our Lippan workshops, we prioritize the process over perfection, so we provide all the MDF bases, clay, and mirrors. You just need to bring your curiosity; we handle the setup and give you direct, honest guidance, ensuring you walk out with a finished piece even if you have zero art background.
What You Will Create
Lippan art is all about texture and reflection. In our studio, we strip back the complexity to make it accessible. You will learn to prepare the clay, apply it to the base, and carefully set mirrors to form geometric patterns that catch the light. Whether you are aiming for a classic white-on-white look or want to add a splash of color, you will learn the precise technique to make your wall art stand out.
Why Learn With Us?
We don't believe in stick figures or 'good enough.' When you are in our Vashi studio, Swati provides hands-on, real-time feedback. If your proportions are off or your lines are too thin, you will hear about it instantly. This might sound intimidating, but it is exactly how you actually improve. We have been teaching art for over 26 years, and our goal is to get you comfortable with the material so you can express your own creative style.
