About Happy Clients & Behind the Scenes
When you visit my studio for a fitting, it is not just a quick trial. I personally check the fall of the fabric, the alignment of the lace, and the fit of every hook and zip. Whether we are adjusting a hemline or tweaking a blouse, my goal is to make sure you walk out feeling comfortable and confident before your big event.
At Tehhzeeb Couture, the most rewarding part of my work is seeing an idea transform into something you love. When you come in for a consultation, we start with a blank slate. Whether you have a Pinterest mood board, a rough sketch, or just a vague vibe, we sit down to talk it through.
My process is deeply collaborative. We pick fabrics—like soft Chanderi or flowy Georgette—and talk about the details that matter to you, like 3D florals, hand-tacked sequins, or the perfect Latkans. I work closely with my team of expert karigars to ensure the stitching is solid and the fit is just right.
What happens at a fitting?
- The Initial Try-on: We check the volume of the skirt or the fall of the gown.
- The Adjustments: We make tweaks right there in the studio so the outfit moves with you, not against you.
- The Final Touch: We ensure the Can-Can, zippers, and closures are secure so you can relax and enjoy your event.
I have been doing this since 1999, and I have learned that the best outfits are the ones that reflect your personality. Whether you are prepping for a wedding in Delhi, a festive party, or just want a new co-ord set for the office, I am here to help you get it right.
