Race Day Training: From Prep to Marathon Medal
A race is more than just running. It’s mental grit, pacing strategy, and knowing exactly when to push. Let me help you get from the starting line to that finish line medal.
The pre-race mirror selfie. This is the moment you're all geared up, bib on, and ready to go. Part of my coaching is ensuring you feel prepared and confident right from the start.
Out on the course, finding your rhythm. This was during a lakeside run portion of a marathon. We'll work on pacing strategies to keep you moving steadily through every kilometer.
The view of the finish line is what keeps you going. This was the final stretch of the 777 Marathon at night. We train your mind to stay strong for this exact moment.
The reward. Taking the train home with a new medal. This is the tangible result of all your hard work and dedication, a reminder of what you've accomplished.
About Race Day: From Prep to Medal
Before you sign up, know this: I don’t believe in 'just running'. We look at your gait, recovery drills, and pacing strategy months before the event. My coaching isn't about hitting random miles, it's about building a runner who knows how to handle that 21K wall without burning out.
Most runners get stuck because they focus only on distance. They see a 10K goal and run until they drop. That’s how you get shin splints, not a personal best.
My marathon prep is structured. We start with base building and move to speed work like Fartleks and intervals. Crucially, I integrate yoga-based mobility drills because your hips and hamstrings are doing the heavy lifting. We also tackle the brain game. I’ve been through the 'why am I doing this' phase at kilometer 12. We train your mind to handle that discomfort so race day feels less like a struggle and more like a rhythm.
You get bi-weekly video gait analysis and 1:1 strategy calls to adjust your pacing charts. Whether you are prepping for your first 5K or a full marathon in NCR, Hyderabad, or Bengaluru, we train for the finish line, not just the run. If you are ready to stop winging it and start training with a plan, let’s get to work.
