Build Your Cricketer's Mindset and Discipline
Cricket is more than just skill. It is about the patience, focus, and mindset you build on the maidaan. Here is how we train your mind to handle the game and life.
For many of us, the cricket ground is more than just a field. It is a place to connect with yourself, a place of sukoon. For me, cricket is therapy.
What is there in cricket? Sukoon. A sense of peace and purpose that only a cricketer can understand.
Some places you get lost, and in some places, you find yourself. For me, that place is the cricket maidaan.
You learn more from failure than from success. Every setback on the field is a lesson in how to come back stronger.
About The Cricketer's Mindset
We do not just train your stance or grip; we work on your reflex-action and mental resilience. If you are serious about playing at the club level, you need to understand that the game is played in the head before it reaches the bat. We use specific high-intensity drills to force you to stay calm under pressure, just like you would during a competitive MCA match.
Training Your Mind for the Maidaan
For me, the maidaan is not just a field. It is a place of sukoon (peace) where you find yourself. But when you are playing, you need more than peace. You need a mindset that stays sharp when the pressure is high.
My coaching philosophy is simple: Pehle basics pakdo, har ball pe focus. (Catch the basics first, focus on every ball).
We structure your training to build this mental toughness:
- Reflex & Agility: We use cone drills and ladder work to keep your body fast, but these also train your brain to react instantly.
- The Transition: Moving from synthetic to leather balls is the biggest challenge for young players. We manage this shift by focusing on your defensive mechanics first, so you feel confident when the pace increases.
- Handle the Pressure: Whether it is a rainy season indoor session or a Sunday match, I push you to treat every drill like a real game. You don't play for fun; you play for improvement.
Why Discipline Matters
I have seen many talented players lose their way because they lacked consistency. That is why I talk about six months of hard work. If you are in Navi Mumbai and looking for coaching, understand that I am here to help you get into the MCA club selection pathway. But that happens only if you bring the junoon (passion) to every single session.

Raut Cricket Academy
I have built Raut Cricket Academy because the maidaan gave me the strength to overcome my own setbacks. I look for players who treat every session as a chance to improve, not just pass time. If you are ready to put in the honest work, I am ready to guide you.
