Rain doesn't stop the grind here. Our covered nets in Kopar Khairane keep the session going when the monsoon hits. Keep your focus, keep your rhythm, and stay game-ready all year round.

I am showing a young batsman how to watch the ball until the very last moment on a square cut. Your focus on the ball is everything, beta.

The nets are where the real work happens, especially during the rainy season. This is my inspiration, seeing players practice no matter the weather.

"Aur mai mehnat nahi chhodunga." This is the mindset we build. In the nets, day after day, we believe that our time will come.

Part three of the square cut drill. After underarm and plastic ball, we move to over-arm throws to simulate match speed. Good batting.

Part two of our square cut progression. After mastering the movement with underarm throws, we use a plastic ball to work on timing.

This is part one of our basic square cut drills. We start with simple underarm throws to get the body movement and footwork right.

A fundamental lesson for every batsman. I am teaching the boys how to take a proper leg stump guard to ensure their alignment and stance are correct from the start.

Correcting a common mistake in the drive. I am explaining why the initial movement should be forward, not back, to keep your body weight transferred into the shot.

About Rainy Season Net Practice

We don't believe in taking a break just because it's pouring outside. Our setup uses heavy-duty, tarpaulin-covered nets to ensure you don't lose that vital muscle memory during the monsoon. You will be working on matting wickets to keep your game sharp, so when you finally step onto the grass, you haven't missed a single beat.

The rainy season often separates those who want to play from those who want to be cricketers. My covered academy setup, built with bamboo and tarpaulin, ensures the training continues whether it is drizzling or storming.

Why Train in the Monsoon?

In the off-season, you can actually jump ahead of the rest. While others take a break, we maintain the intensity. Because the run-up space is limited by the structure, we focus on technical precision rather than just swinging the bat wildly. It is perfect for refining your stance, working on stationary delivery drills, and perfecting your reflexes.

What to Expect

  • Batting Focus: Intensive work on front and back foot defense mechanics, perfect for developing patience.
  • Bowling Focus: Standing delivery and loading drills to refine your action without relying on a full run-up.
  • Evening Flexibility: We provide LED floodlights for evening batches, so your schedule remains uninterrupted.
  • Conditioning: When the nets are crowded, we pivot to indoor agility drills, skipping, and core workouts.

This isn't about playing for fun; it's about discipline. If you can show up at the maidaan when it is pouring, you have the mindset required for the MCA selection pathway. Bring your own kit and your focus—the rest is on me.

I’ve built this place because I know what it’s like to lose months of progress to bad weather. I want my players to be ready for the MCA level, and you can't reach that level if you stop training for four months a year. Come train with me—we’ll put in the work, rain or shine.
