About Outdoor & Natural Light Sessions
Outdoor sessions are all about letting your child explore at their own pace, which is why I always schedule these shoots during the golden hour to get that soft, flattering light. Unlike a studio, we rely on the environment for our backdrop, so I recommend bringing a change of clothes and their favorite snacks. When a toddler feels free to run around on the grass or play with props like a picnic set, that is exactly when we catch the genuine laughter you will want to keep forever.

There is a special energy in an outdoor setting that the studio just cannot replicate. While my studio sessions are perfect for controlled, theme-heavy setups, outdoor shoots offer movement, fresh air, and an organic backdrop that feels effortless. Whether it is a quiet corner in a park or a lush green space in Thane or Andheri, nature provides the best canvas for capturing your baby’s milestones.
Preparing for Your Shoot
- Timing: We will aim for early morning or late afternoon. This avoids the harsh mid-day sun, which is difficult for sensitive baby skin and results in unflattering shadows.
- The Setup: I bring the props to you. From rustic wooden swings and miniature picnic tables to whimsical balloon setups, I make sure the scene is safe and visually engaging for your child.
- Comfort is Key: If your baby is happy, the photos will show it. Bring plenty of water, familiar toys, and extra layers in case the breeze picks up.
Location & Planning
We can shoot at public parks, garden areas, or even quiet spots near your home in Mumbai. If you have a specific location in mind, let me know. I am always open to exploring new spots that offer the right light and space for your little one to be their curious, energetic self. We keep the shoot fluid; if your baby needs a nap or a snack break, we pause. The goal is to document your family’s journey, not just get a perfect shot.
