About Twice the Joy: Twin Photoshoots
Photographing twins requires an extra layer of patience and a calm hand. Whether we are perfectly timing those newborn wraps so both babies stay cozy, or coordinating outfits for an energetic milestone session, my focus is always on their comfort first. You never have to worry about them being fussy or difficult, as we always move at their pace to capture those fleeting, synchronized smiles that define their connection.
When you bring twins to the studio, the session dynamic changes slightly. My Andheri and Thane studios are equipped to handle two babies simultaneously, ensuring we have enough props, wraps, and hands on deck to keep the shoot smooth and safe.
My Approach to Twin Photography
- Newborn Safety: For newborns, safety is paramount. I pose twins in ways that highlight their bond while keeping them secure and comfortable. We use soft, breathable wraps and plush baskets that allow them to nestle together naturally.
- Milestone Sessions: As they grow, every twin pair develops their own dynamic. In sitter or first birthday sessions, I love capturing their interactions. Whether they are exploring a prop together or sharing a giggle during a cake smash, these moments are often more lively and require a slightly longer, more flexible schedule than a single-baby shoot.
- Coordination vs. Individuality: You don't have to dress them in matching outfits unless you want to. I love mixing coordinated colors with distinct textures, allowing their individual personalities to shine through while keeping the overall aesthetic cohesive.
