Our traditional vegetarian meal is a feast for the senses. Served on a banana leaf, it includes a variety of palyas, kosambari, rice, chapati, sweets, and other delicacies.
About Traditional Vegetarian Oota
The secret to a great baale yele oota is consistency, which is why my kitchen crew stays the same all year round. Whether I am serving 100 people or 1,000, the spice level in the Bisibelebath and the texture of the Holige remain exactly the same. You do not have to worry about quality fluctuations because I am personally on the floor, checking every plate before it leaves the kitchen.
My vegetarian catering service is built on the same 'naati' (native) principles as my non-vegetarian work. I believe that a vegetarian feast should be as hearty and flavorful as any other. We focus on a complete, 15+ item baale yele oota that brings back the nostalgic taste of traditional Karnataka festivals.
What goes into the leaf
My menu is designed to be a balanced, traditional meal. It includes:
- Basics: Salt, pickles, and chutneys that set the right foundation.
- Sides: Fresh Kosambari, vegetable palya, and crispy Ambode.
- Main Course: Authentic Bisibelebath with crunchy boondi, white rice served with pure ghee, vegetable kurma, and spiced Majjige (buttermilk).
- Sweets: Soft Holige or Obbattu served with ghee, or Chiroti with Badam milk.
Why my service is different
I do not believe in mass-producing food that loses its soul. My team uses our own vessels and vehicles to maintain hygiene and temperature standards across any venue in Karnataka. Since I personally supervise the service, you can expect an organized, orderly flow of food, whether you are hosting a small family function or a large public gathering. Everything is prepared with homemade masalas and traditional techniques, ensuring that your guests get the true taste of a home-cooked feast.
