About this collection
My fusion choreography relies on a precise balance between the grounded, athletic movements of Mayurbhanj Chhau and the intricate footwork of Bharatanatyam. When we perform, we focus on smooth transitions that maintain the narrative flow, ensuring the shift between martial and classical styles feels like a seamless story rather than a disjointed set.
Fusion is not just about combining steps; it is about finding a shared energy. For productions like 'Maheswara', I anchor the choreography in the Rudra Tandav of Shiva, letting the raw athleticism of Chhau represent masculine energy, while Bharatanatyam and Odissi provide the balanced, graceful counterpoint.
For clients looking to book our troupe, it is important to understand the technical requirements behind these performances. We stage productions with 10 to 22 artists, which demands space for complex choreography and props. We provide a full cue sheet for venue lighting engineers to ensure the moods for our transitions are hit perfectly. For our 30-minute showcases, we include dedicated backstage support to handle costume changes, allowing the dancers to transition from traditional classical silks to martial attire without breaking the rhythm of the performance.
Whether for a corporate festival, a cultural event, or a thematic show in Delhi-NCR, my goal is to deliver an experience that feels authentic to our heritage. We bring our own background graphics for LED walls and manage all the technical logistics. If you are planning an event that requires a high-impact, story-driven performance, let us discuss how our fusion repertoire can align with your vision.
