About this collection
These performances are not simple routines; they are choreographed narratives that require precise execution. Whether it is 'Colours of India' or our mythological epics, we coordinate a full troupe of 18+ artists, manage complex costume transitions, and align live stagecraft with audio-visual cues to ensure the story unfolds seamlessly for your audience.
At Trikayaa, our dance productions go beyond mere movement. We focus on the fusion of Mayurbhanj Chhau—a martial art form defined by its vigor and acrobatic precision—with the structured elegance of Bharatanatyam and Odissi.
Our Production Approach
Each performance is built with a specific intent:
- Thematic Narratives: We retell epics like the Ramayana and Maheswara through a blend of traditional mudras, martial weaponry like the dhal (shield) and sword, and contemporary stage blocking.
- Technical Precision: Because we perform at major festivals and events, our productions are designed for professional venues. We provide dedicated cue sheets for lighting engineers and ensure our troupe is prepared for the specific constraints of large-scale stages.
- Authenticity: We use authentic props and theatrical-grade costumes. When we portray Shiva or the fierce Shakti, it is grounded in the deep classical traditions we have studied for years, ensuring the audience feels the weight and significance of the art.
We do not just provide dancers; we curate a cultural experience. Whether you are hosting a government event, a large festival, or a corporate showcase, our choreography is structured to command the room. We involve a manager for all backstage coordination and ensure that every performance, from a 15-minute opening act to an hour-long mythological musical, maintains the same level of artistic discipline and energy.
