About Thematic Dance Productions & Performances
Why I Choreograph
For me, dance is more than movement. It's a way to find light in the dark and share it with others. That's where Trikayaa comes in—my base for making stories come alive on stage.
What I Do
I put together large-scale cultural dance shows that use movement to narrate stories. Think of it as watching a storybook unfold, but with rhythm, colour, and emotion. Each show is built to pull you in—lights, costumes, sound, everything working together.
The Kinds of Stories We Tell
- Colours of India celebrates our desi virasat (heritage) with a mix of dance styles.
- Ramayana the Musical retells the classic epic through song and movement.
- Maheswara pays tribute to Shiva, mixing Chhau's power with Bharatanatyam.
- Shakti / Aigirinandini is all about the fierce side of women, using Mayurbhanj Chhau.
- Matrabhoomi is pure desh-bhakti (patriotism), a salute to our land.
How My Dance Looks
My main thing is Mayurbhanj Chhau, but I blend it with Bharatanatyam, Odissi, and even some contemporary moves. The result? Fusion choreography productions that have both punch and poetry.
Where You Might Have Seen Us
We've taken our immersive stage dance experiences everywhere—big festivals, government events, even global stages. Our productions fit right in at corporate gigs, school shows, or even private gatherings.
What You Get
- A professional troupe—men, women, all trained dancers
- Real costumes and props (think swords, trishuls, shields)
- Full-on stagecraft with dramatic lights and visual backdrops
Not every story I create is easy. Some need months of practice, and the bigger the vision, the harder it gets. But that's what makes each performance special.

My Story
We are dancers, but really, we’re storytellers – sharing our culture’s spirit, not just steps. Winning the Bismillah Khan award pushed us to do more. Trikayaa Dance Foundation is our way to keep ancient art alive. Dance means more than movement, it’s a spiritual thing, like the aghoris say: aghor do shabdon se bana hai, 'a' aur 'ghor', matlab andhere ke bina (made of two words, meaning ‘without darkness’). We put this warrior energy into our Mayurbhanj Chhau. Seeing kids and women perform this, wow, that’s pride. Our work is all about keeping our virasat (heritage) moving forward.
