About this collection
Orchestrating a large production requires more than just choreography; it demands technical precision. For our grand shows, I provide a dedicated lighting technician to manage venue consoles and a backstage wardrobe team to handle complex quick-changes, ensuring the narrative flow remains unbroken from start to finish.
The Trikayaa Production Standard
When we create a grand thematic production, the objective is to transport the audience. These performances are built as cohesive narrative journeys, whether it is a retelling of the Ramayana or a celebration of India's unity in Colours of India. With a troupe of 18 to 22 artists, we do not simply perform; we occupy the stage with purpose.
Artistic & Technical Execution
My choreography for these events focuses on blending the warrior energy of Mayurbhanj Chhau with the precision of Bharatanatyam and Odissi. This fusion creates a unique visual language that is both aggressive and graceful.
We handle the complexities of production so the event organizer does not have to:
- Stagecraft: We manage the transport and setup of large-scale props, including chariot structures and thrones.
- Wardrobe Management: With intricate costumes and multiple character transformations, we deploy a dedicated backstage team to ensure seamless transitions.
- Lighting Design: Every production includes a dedicated technician who works with the venue's console to execute specific mood creation and spotlight cues.
Bringing Mythology to Life
Our larger productions are designed for venues with professional staging capabilities, such as LED walls and extensive lighting grids. Shows like Maheswara or Matrabhoomi rely on the synergy between the live dancers and the visual backdrop. By integrating authentic, theatrical-grade costumes with rhythmic percussion and live-sound tracks, we ensure the heritage we represent feels immediate and relevant to modern audiences. Whether you are hosting a government function, a festival, or a corporate cultural showcase, we bring the discipline of the studio to the grandest of stages.
