A glimpse into the artist behind the movement, our training philosophy, and the community we nurture at Trikayaa.

A portrait capturing a moment of quiet contemplation and movement. The vibrant yellow background contrasts with the calm yet powerful posture, reflecting the dynamic nature of dance.

About Additional Work & Portraits

Beyond the final performance on stage, we believe dance education is a 360-degree journey that includes mastering the aesthetics of costume, makeup, and theory. In our workshops, I ensure students understand that a dancer is not just a performer, but a storyteller who knows how to prepare their body and presentation for the audience.

At Trikayaa, our studio is a space for discipline, creativity, and growth. While our performances showcase the raw power of Mayurbhanj Chhau and the elegance of Bharatanatyam, the training that leads to these moments happens here in our Indirapuram studio.

We focus on the holistic development of a performer. This means our sessions are not just about repetitive steps. We incorporate 15 minutes of rigorous yoga-based stretching and body conditioning in every class, ensuring students build the strength required for the intense movements of martial dance. Our studio features professional wooden sprung flooring, which is essential for absorbing impact and protecting joints during practice.

We teach students to understand the rhythm mathematics of Talam and the theoretical depth of Natyashastra. Whether it is a workshop on stage makeup or a foundation training session, my goal is to guide students to find their own 'Aghor'—a state of clarity and light. If you are looking for more than just a dance class, but a dedicated path to understanding Indian cultural heritage through movement, this is where we begin.

I am Rakesh Sai Babu, and for me, dance is a way to find light. At Trikayaa, we focus on sharing the spirit of our culture rather than just steps, treating every session as a path to personal growth. These images capture the focus and community we nurture within our studio walls.
