My Approach to Religious Events
I don't believe in over-complicating a pooja space with unnecessary props. My work centers on the essentials:
- Deity Placement: Whether it is a Murugan idol or a sacred thread ceremony, I ensure the deity is the focal point, accented by traditional flower garlands and proper lighting that highlights the details without being harsh.
- Authentic Materials: For traditional events like Gruhapravesam (housewarming), I use natural materials like banana leaves, bamboo, and fresh marigolds to build the Royal Chapra, because those textures matter for the final look.
- Space Utilization: I have worked in compact living rooms and large party halls. My team and I adapt the design to fit the space, ensuring that the mantapa or backdrop feels proportional to the room, not cramped or lost.
What I Handle
When you book me for a religious setup in Bangalore or Chennai, I take responsibility for the entire flow. This includes the backdrop, the red carpet for entries, the electricals for the full-house lighting, and the placement of ritual items. I understand that these events are about family and milestones, so I ensure the setup is ready well before the first guest arrives.
