About Villa & Farmhouse Transformations
It is not just about planting; the secret is in the ground preparation. For your villa or farmhouse, I start by clearing the site, spreading fertile red soil (Lal Mitti) mixed with manure, and leveling the ground to prevent water logging. This foundational work is what ensures your lawn stays lush and healthy instead of drying out after the first few weeks.
Every garden we develop starts with a conversation about how you want to use your space. Whether you are looking at a sprawling farmhouse plot or the grounds around a modern villa, the approach remains the same: build a solid foundation so the greenery thrives.
Our Process
When we take on a project, we handle the entire lifecycle. First, we clear the existing debris and unwanted weeds. Then, we prepare the ground. For lawns, this means supplying and spreading 2 to 4 inches of fertile red soil sourced from local quarries. We enrich this with vermicompost or well-decomposed cow dung manure to give the plants the best start.
Materials That Last
We focus on durability. For villa landscapes, I recommend using Selection 1 natural lawn, such as Mexican Carpet or Bermuda grass. We lay these in rolls or slabs, carefully filling every gap. Once laid, we use a manual heavy cylinder roller to press the turf, followed by immediate flooding to remove air pockets. If you want hardscaping, we construct brick planters with black granite coping and install stone pathways that stand up to the weather in Mumbai and Thane.
Beyond Just Grass
A complete garden needs structure. We integrate semi-mature palms like Foxtail or Areca to create height and use high-density shrubs like Ixora or Bougainvillea for color. For shaded areas, we use fillers like Peace Lilies. The goal is to create a space that feels like a permanent oasis, not just a temporary patch of green.
