Spiritual Sanctuary Motorcycle Rides from Bengaluru
Some rides are for the soul. I lead disciplined motorcycle journeys to places of deep spiritual energy and history across Karnataka. Join us for a ride that feeds your mind and respects our heritage.
The ride to the Adiyogi statue is as beautiful as the destination itself. This clip shows the journey and the magnificent first glimpse of the statue.
My Triumph Street Triple in front of the awe-inspiring Adiyogi statue. This is a popular destination for our spiritual and long-distance group motorcycle tours.
Sitting on the steps of the Vidyashankara temple in Sringeri. The unique star-shaped platform and intricate carvings are a testament to ancient Indian craftsmanship.
A short tour of the Sringeri Sharadamba Temple complex, showing the grand gopuram, the Vidyashankara temple, and the peaceful atmosphere of this holy site.
A visit to Mandaragiri, also known as Peacock Hill. The unique peacock-feather-shaped dome of the Guru Mandir is a modern architectural marvel.
Performing a simple offering at Sahasralinga, a sacred place where a thousand lingas are carved on rocks in the middle of the Shalmala river.
At the 12th-century Kedareshwara temple in Balligavi. This Hoysala-era temple has some of the most detailed and beautiful Nandi statues.
About this collection
We don't just ride to these temples; we respect them. Whether it is the early start from Bengaluru or navigating the twists toward Sringeri, our rides are about strict formation, discipline, and understanding the history behind the stone. I handle the logistics, hydration, and entry, so you focus entirely on the road and the architecture.
Riding to places like Adiyogi, Sringeri, or Sahasralinga is about more than just hitting the throttle. It is about namma naadu (our land) and namma itihaasa (our history). These trips are for riders who value the process as much as the destination.
The Ride Experience
Just like in the gym, I demand discipline on the road. We ride in a tight formation with designated sweepers to ensure everyone stays safe. You do not need to worry about the chaos of planning. I take care of the essentials:
- Logistics: Covered parking, ASI entry tickets, and hydration stops.
- History: A 45-minute guided walkthrough of the site. I break down the architecture and the lineage, not as a textbook, but as a story.
- Formation: We follow specific hand signals and lane protocols. Safety is non-negotiable.
Where We Go
My route to Sringeri captures the serenity of the Vidyashankara temple and the Sharadamba complex. For a deeper look at architecture, we head to Balligavi to see the 12th-century Kedareshwara temple. If you want a modern marvel, we ride to Mandaragiri, the Peacock Hill. We often combine these rides with local experiences—like learning about beekeeping in Malenadu or simple offerings at Sahasralinga.
Who This Is For
You need your own motorcycle (200cc+) and full gear—helmet, jacket, gloves, and boots. This is not a race. It is a brotherhood. If you are serious about road safety and have a curiosity for our roots, you fit right in.
Raghu Ramappa
I am Raghu. I combine my love for the machine and our history into these rides. We are not just a group of bikers; we are students of the road, keeping our culture and heritage alive through every kilometer we cover.
