Heritage Motorcycle Ride to Lepakshi Temple
Experience the architectural genius of the Vijayanagara Empire on two wheels. A disciplined ride from Bengaluru focusing on history, camaraderie, and the open road.
The iconic Naga Linga at Lepakshi serves as a stunning backdrop for our group photo. This monolithic sculpture is a highlight of our heritage ride to Andhra Pradesh.
This video compilation shows our weekend bike ride to Lepakshi, from gearing up to exploring the temple's famous carvings and giant footprints.
Standing between the intricately carved pillars of the Veerabhadra temple. Every pillar in Lepakshi tells a different story from Hindu mythology.
Walking through the temple corridors with Dayananda sir, who shared fascinating details about the history of Lepakshi during our tour.
A moment of peace with the riding crew under a very old tree within the Lepakshi temple complex.
Posing next to a Yali pillar, a mythical creature often seen in the temple architecture of the Vijayanagara period.
Our group in front of the giant Nandi statue, which is carved from a single stone and is one of the largest in the world.
About this collection
This isn't just sumne riding (aimless riding). When we ride to Lepakshi, we move as a convoy. You will be part of a disciplined formation with specific hand signals, stopping to learn about the history of the Veerabhadra temple right on-site. It is about the brotherhood and the stories, not just the distance covered.
Lepakshi is a journey into the architectural genius of the Vijayanagara Empire. We start early from Bengaluru, riding with a strict focus on safety and lane discipline. We explore the giant monolithic Nandi, the hanging pillar, and the Naga Linga. We do not rush. We walk the temple corridors, learn about the legends, and respect the site.
My heritage rides are structured. We use lead and sweep riders to keep the group tight and cohesive. The trip includes a breakfast stop at a premium highway restaurant. This is for riders who have their own gear and 200cc+ bike, and who respect the road just like they respect the gym. It is namma naadu, namma itihaasa (our land, our history). We also make sure to do our part by keeping the sites clean. If you want a weekend ride that is disciplined, educational, and real, this is where you belong.
We provide digital assets, including drone shots of the convoy and portraits, so you have memories that actually matter. Pack your gear, respect the road, and come join the ride.
