This video tour of Eden House captures its essence as a light-filled family home. We focused on balancing privacy with open, airy living, creating a space that reflects the owners' bold, playful, and adventurous nature.

About Eden House: Whimsical Penthouse Living
This 10,000 sq ft Bangalore penthouse is a perfect example of how we mix raw materials with bold colour. Instead of creating a sterile space, we used a gradient bar, custom-made in collaboration with local makers, and layered jewel tones to give the family a home that feels like a warm hug.
A Personal Eden
When we took on this 10,000 sq ft project in Bangalore, our goal was simple: to create a home that felt like the people living in it. A house of this scale can easily become a museum, but our collaboration with the homeowners allowed us to keep the space grounded, playful, and deeply personal.
Designing for Flow
We looked at how the family moves through their day. The home is spread across two levels and a terrace, so we focused on creating a dialogue between the indoors and the outdoors. The winding spiral staircase on the deck is not just a connector; it is a focal point that brings a whimsical energy to the architecture. We used soft, transitional design principles to ensure that even with bold jewel tones and unique art, the home feels calm rather than chaotic.
The Details That Matter
Luxury, for us, is found in the details. We worked closely with talented karigars (artisans) to build original furniture pieces, like the gradient bar in the living room and the various face-designed side tables. We explored the use of gold in a delicate, subtle way to add glamour without it feeling loud. The material palette—wood, marble, glass, and hand-painted murals—was selected to ensure the space feels tactile and real.
Living Outside
In Bangalore’s climate, the outdoors are an extension of the living room. We transformed the terrace into a lively haven with a pool, a bougainvillea-lined seating nook, and comfortable zones for hosting. It is about creating moments where you can pause, breathe, and simply be.
