End-to-End Boutique Workspace & Retail Interiors
Design & Spatial Planning
- Concept Development: Creation of spatial stories based on brand ethos with mood boards focusing on transitional aesthetics.
- Technical Drawings: Detailed 2D AutoCAD layouts optimizing flow for retail footfall or office collaboration.
- 3D Visualization: Key perspective renders to establish mood, materiality, and lighting effects.
Civil Works & Hard Shell
- Premium Flooring: Installation of character-rich surfaces like polished concrete, IPS, distressed wood, or patterned terrazzo (no standard tiles).
- Ceiling & Partitions: Execution of exposed industrial ceilings or fabric-accented dropped ceilings; glass and metal partition works.
- MEP Services: Rerouting electricals for layout changes and basic HVAC ducting adjustments.
Custom Joinery & Fabrication
- Bespoke Furniture: On-site fabrication of non-standard items like collaborative tables, reception desks, and organic-finish storage units.
- Materiality: Use of high-grade birch ply, metal, and textured veneers rather than standard modular laminates.
- Display Units: Custom-designed product displays acting as visual merchandising stages for retail setups.
Signature Lighting & Decor Styling
- Lighting Fit-outs: Supply and installation of mood lighting including industrial pendants, warm globes, and track lights.
- Curated Styling: Final layer styling including gallery walls, art placement, rugs, and upholstery.
- The Soul Package: Sourcing and placement of books, artifacts, and plants to ensure the space is fully lived-in at handover.
Theatrical Event Installations & Pop-up Sets
Concept & Art Direction
- Thematic Design: Development of strong narrative hooks (e.g., whimsical or minimalist themes) translating brand identity into physical experiences.
- Material Selection: Curation of unconventional temporary materials like fabric swathing and paper installations for high visual impact.
Custom Fabrication (Temporary Build)
- Structure Construction: MDF or Plywood wall construction with paint or wallpaper finishes (excludes standard Octonorm systems).
- Themed Flooring: Installation of temporary finishes such as wooden-look vinyl, faux grass, or printed carpets.
- Architectural Features: Fabrication of focal points like arches, cutouts, or latticed ceiling treatments.
Theatrical Styling & Props
- Furniture Sourcing: Rental and placement of eclectic, non-standard furniture (Victorian chairs, sculptural tables) to fit the narrative.
- Prop Layering: Dense styling with accessories, vintage books, crockery, and floral arrangements.
- Lighting Atmosphere: Rental and setup of dramatic fixtures like chandeliers and floor lamps, plus sensory elements like mist effects if required.
Logistics & Execution
- Turnkey Management: Coordination of carpenters, painters, and electricians during tight setup windows (typically overnight).
- Site Operations: Includes transport logistics, installation labor, and complete post-event dismantling and disposal.

My Story
Started Purple Backyard when I was 22. Mumbai kid, no backyard, so I built my own—open, inviting, full of life. My nani (grandmom) and mum made our home feel like a hug, not a showroom. That’s my vibe: homes should be lived in, not perfect. Japan taught me calm, India gave me soul. PB Home is my way to bring local crafts and small joys into everyday living. Stillness, chaos, all of it—design is personal.

What We Do - We design homes—apartments, penthouses—and create custom objects by karigars. We also do experiential installations.
How We Design - Transitional, layered, happy homes. We mix Indian craft home decor with your stories, so it feels warm, not stiff.
