Lighting is the jewelry of a room, but it needs to work as art even when it’s switched off. We often combine unexpected materials like turned wood beads, ceramic elements, or rough-hewn stone to create fixtures that command attention, like our LUNA installation that traces the moon’s cycle along a stairwell. If you have a double-height void or an awkward corner that feels empty, that is exactly the kind of blank canvas we love to work with.
When we approach lighting, we aren't just looking for lumens. We are looking for atmosphere. My team and I believe that the right fixture can completely shift the energy of a room, turning a standard hallway or lounge into a space that invites you to pause.
Designing for Experience
We specialize in large-scale, mixed-media installations. This usually means working on custom pieces that span up to 12 feet, perfect for double-height voids or open stairwells. Our process is collaborative. We don't just supply a light; we engineer it to fit your volume. This involves technical site visits to check your ceiling structure, followed by precision mounting using brass or black canopy hardware.
Material & Craft
Our pieces celebrate raw texture over high-gloss perfection. We work with local karigars (artisans) to craft elements from high-quality wood, marble, or ceramic. Whether it’s hand-strung beads or custom wall sconces carved from basalt, the goal is always to create a tactile experience.
The Collaborative Process
Some of our most loved works, like the LUNA fixture, come from creative jugads—collaborations with other artists. These pieces aren't items you pull off a shelf. They are designed and hand-balanced at our studio before we ever bring them to your site. Because we focus on warm white LED modules (2700K-3000K), the light itself feels soft, avoiding that harsh clinic-like glare.
