Making Memories: Special School Days at Purple Asters
Every first day, festive celebration, and school milestone is a chapter in our students' stories. At Purple Asters, we turn these moments into joyful memories for our Little Asters.

About Making Memories: Special School Days
The first day of school can be a nervous time, so we have a special photo frame setup right at the entrance. It helps shift the focus from separation anxiety to a fun photoshoot, giving parents a precious keepsake and kids a reason to smile the moment they walk through our doors in Sanjayanagara.
Childhood is built on small, significant moments. Whether it is watering a sapling on World Environment Day or dressing up for Janmashtami, we believe these events are where learning truly takes root.
Building Confidence Through Celebration
We use a Multiple Intelligence approach, but we know that traditional classroom teaching only goes so far. Our celebrations—ranging from Annual Day performances to simple 'Show and Tell' sessions—are designed to build social confidence. When a child stands on a stage or gets creative with clay during our festivities, they are learning to express themselves, handle nerves, and interact with peers.
The Purple Asters Environment
Our facility in RMV Extension is designed to be a second home. The bright classrooms and artificial turf play area provide a safe space where kids feel comfortable enough to just be themselves. Our teachers act as mentors, ensuring that festivals like Onam or Kannada Rajyotsava are not just dates on a calendar, but opportunities to learn about local culture through art, storytelling, and play.
Transitioning with Ease
We understand that joining a new preschool or daycare is a big change for families. This is why we focus heavily on the transition period. Our teachers are trained to make that first week smooth, engaging the children with puzzles, art activities, and sensory play so that they view school as a place of exploration rather than a place to be away from home. We keep parents involved throughout, sharing snippets of their child's day because we know that happy parents make for happy kids.
