Annual Preschool Program
Core Academics
- Timing: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Syllabus: Blend of Multiple Intelligence pedagogy, Montessori methods, and standard alphabet/number learning.
- Batches: Available for Pre-Nursery, Nursery, LKG, and UKG.
- Class Size: Maintain a student-teacher ratio of approximately 10:1.
Student Kit & Materials
- Books: Textbooks, workbooks, and school diary included.
- Supplies: Daily classroom stationery like crayons, paints, and pencils provided.
- Crafts: Materials for art sessions including clay, chart paper, and glue.
Events & Development
- Celebrations: Organized activities for major festivals like Diwali and Christmas with costumes and decor.
- Physical Activity: Annual Sports Day with races; weekly Yoga sessions on mats.
- Public Speaking: Regular Show & Tell sessions to boost confidence.
Facilities
- Classrooms: Fan-cooled rooms with child-sized wooden furniture and TV for video lessons.
- Outdoor: Artificial turf play area with slides, rockers, and ride-on cars.
- Hygiene: Staff assistance for hand-washing and washroom breaks.
Integrated Full-Day Daycare
Daily Schedule
- Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM (approx. 9.5 hours coverage).
- Schooling: Includes the full morning Preschool curriculum and classes.
- Afternoon: Transition to unstructured play and rest after 12:30 PM.
Food & Nutrition
- Lunch: Freshly cooked vegetarian meal (Dal, Rice, Roti, Mild Sabzi) from in-house kitchen.
- Snacks: Evening milk, fruit, or biscuits provided at 4:00 PM.
- Support: Nannies available to feed younger children.
Nap & Care
- Rest: Quiet nap time from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM on floor mattresses or cots.
- Hygiene: Diaper changing and potty training support included.
- Clothing: Staff assist in changing kids from uniforms into home clothes post-lunch.
Evening Activities
- Study Time: Teachers supervise homework and worksheets for older kids.
- Play: Access to indoor toys, building blocks, and the outdoor turf area.
About Preschool & Daycare
Where Little Ones Blossom
At Purple Asters, we keep things simple and happy. Kids are free to be themselves - no pressure, just a lot of laughter and masti (fun). My main aim is to make sure every child feels at home, while parents get peace of mind.
How We Learn & Play
- I use a multiple intelligence curriculum because I know every kid is different - some love music, others are born artists, and a few just want to run around.
- There’s a good mix of play-based learning activities, art, music, stories, and practical skills like sharing, respect, and cleaning up.
- Montessori methods show up here and there, but I don’t stick to just one style. Whatever works best for the kids, we do it.
Daily Life
- Days are packed with yoga, free play, and creative messes - clay, paint, puzzles, and handmade crafts are all part of the fun.
- I make sure kids pick up a bit of Kannada and Hindi, nothing too heavy, just swalpa Kannada, thoda Hindi (a little Kannada, a little Hindi), so they get comfortable with local languages.
- Safety is non-negotiable. There’s a secure play area outside, with artificial turf, slides, and a ball pit.
Celebrations & Culture
- I go all out for Indian festivals - Diwali diyas, Holi colours, Janmashtami dress-up, Onam pookalam, and Kannada Rajyotsava.
- We also party for Christmas, Halloween, and Friendship Day.
- Every first day, graduation, and Annual Day feels special, with kids getting their moment on stage.

My Story
Namaskara! We’re Purple Asters, a bunch of teachers who just love watching kids grow. Been in this field for 20+ years, but honestly, every day feels new. Our school? It’s like a second home – noisy, colourful, and full of fun. We celebrate everything, from Makar Sankranti to Father’s Day card making. Our principal ma’am is always around, making sure learning is never boring. Kids’ smiles – that’s what we chase.
My Work
Preschool, Day Care & After-School - We run play-based preschool, day care, and after-school programs for kids aged 4-14.
Fun Summer Camp - April means our summer camp with music, dance, art, yoga, Zumba, and lots more.
Learning through Play - Our curriculum is all about play-based preschool methods – puzzles, art, sports, and hands-on fun.
Personal Attention - Small teacher-student ratio, happiness hour, and ‘PunFun’ riddles for a nurturing space.
All-Round Development - Kids learn Vedic Maths, handwriting improvement classes, Kannada, Hindi – not just regular academics.
