Being a great badminton player starts with being a great athlete. I integrate strength, stamina, and agility drills into every session so you hit the court ready to dominate.

The plank is a fundamental exercise for building a strong core, which is essential for stability and power in every shot. Our players hold the position, building endurance together.

This video demonstrates some of our key plyometric exercises. We use tuck jumps, squat jumps, and toe touches to develop the explosive power needed for powerful smashes and quick court coverage.

We build strength and camaraderie with partner exercises. These two players are engaged in a push-up high-five drill, making a tough workout more interactive and motivating.

Another angle of our partner push-up drill. This exercise builds upper body and core strength while also improving coordination and teamwork between players.

The smiles say it all. Even during a challenging push-up routine, our players find ways to motivate each other and enjoy the process of getting stronger together.

About Fitness & Conditioning

I do not just put you through random exercises. My conditioning sessions are built specifically for the demands of a badminton rally, focusing on explosive plyometrics like tuck jumps and split-second agility drills to improve your court coverage. If you are struggling to keep your pace up by the third set, these routines are designed to fix exactly that.

Badminton is a game of quick reflexes and explosive movement. Without proper athletic conditioning, even the best technique will fail when you hit the fatigue wall. At Prowess Shuttlers, we treat fitness as the foundation of your game.

Why Conditioning Matters

Standard court practice is not enough. You need the stamina to sustain long rallies and the explosive power to execute a smash at the end of a match. My training modules focus on:

  • Explosive Power: We use plyometric movements like squat jumps and toe touches to increase your vertical leap and court speed.
  • Core Stability: A strong core is vital for balance during smashes and lunges. Our plank variations and partner drills ensure you stay stable under pressure.
  • Agility & Reaction: Quick feet define a good player. We incorporate ladder drills and reaction exercises to sharpen your responsiveness on the synthetic mat.

The Training Environment

We train in an AC indoor environment at our Borivali facility. This is crucial for conditioning because it allows you to push your heart rate higher without the risk of heat exhaustion or dehydration. You get to focus entirely on your form and intensity.

Whether you are an adult beginner aiming to improve your general fitness or a competitive player looking to add that extra edge, our batches are structured to push your limits.
