Ready to take your game up a notch? From court speed to shot accuracy, our training sessions get you tournament-ready on professional wooden floors.

This is what a typical training session looks like. We focus on high-intensity drills, including powerful smashes and quick net play, to ensure our players are always improving.

To be fast on the court, you need to train for it off the court. This video demonstrates some of the essential speed and agility exercises we use to boost player performance.

Practice matches are key to development. Here are our students from all four centers engaging in competitive games at Bombay Gymkhana, putting their training into practice.

We conducted a special badminton clinic for the doctors of St. Luke's Medical Guild, where I demonstrated basic techniques and skills to help them enjoy the game.

It was an honor to host an interactive and demonstration session with the father of Indian Badminton, Leroy D'sa, for the members of Matunga Gymkhana.

About this collection

We don’t just hit shuttles; we build players. Our sessions combine 40 minutes of intense agility and footwork drills with 20 minutes of focused sparring, specifically designed to protect your joints on our shock-absorbent wooden courts while sharpening your match-day speed.

How We Train

Badminton is high-impact, and we treat it that way. Whether you are in our Recreational Fitness batch or our Advanced Competitive Grind, the structure is deliberate. We focus on ladder footwork, toss/drop mechanics, and grip correction to build muscle memory that holds up in high-pressure matches.

Choose Your Path

  • Recreational Fitness: 3 sessions per week designed for cardio and basic skill acquisition. It’s perfect if you want to improve your stamina and technique without the pressure of a tournament circuit. We keep the student-to-coach ratio at roughly 1:10 to ensure you get actual feedback, not just court time.

  • Advanced Competitive Grind: This is for the serious player. 5 to 6 sessions per week focusing on multifeed pressure for reaction time, doubles rotation strategies, and defensive analysis. We treat this like tournament prep, including high-volume shuttle usage and off-court conditioning for explosive power.

Why Our Locations Matter

We operate across Mumbai’s premier gymkhanas—Matunga, Willingdon (Santacruz), Chembur, and Bombay Gymkhana. Beyond just court booking, these venues offer elite wooden flooring that is essential for long-term knee and joint health, especially if you play frequently. When you train here, you are training on the surfaces where tournaments are played.

What You Need to Bring

To keep training safe and effective, please bring your own non-marking gum sole shoes and a racquet. We handle the rest, including feather shuttles for multifeed drills, so you can walk in, warm up, and get to work.
