Athletics Coaching: Podium-Level Performance Training
See what happens when raw potential meets consistent training. From rainy track sessions to district championship podiums, this is how we build our champions.
I am so proud to see my team clinch the Team Championship trophy at the Mumbai Suburban District Athletics Championship. This is what happens when talent, hard work, and teamwork come together.
My mantra is simple: "Bad weather, no excuse!" We show up and train, rain or shine. This dedication is what separates good athletes from great ones.
A race is often won or lost in the first few seconds. We dedicate hours to perfecting the explosive power and technique of block starts for sprint events.
To build speed on the track, we build power in the gym. Here, my athletes are working on plyometric hurdle jumps to develop explosive strength and agility.
I believe the foundation of all success is a strong relationship between a coach and an athlete. It's a journey we walk together, from the first practice to the national stage.
A proud moment with my athlete Yash Joshi after he won a Silver medal in the 200m Run at the All India Inter University Athletics Championship. Seeing their joy is my greatest reward.
It is always a happy moment to see my athletes' achievements featured in the Times of India. Gagan Amin and Thanish Gaddam created new meet records, a testament to their incredible effort.
From practice to the podium, the journey is real and the taste of victory is sweet. We celebrate every win, as it fuels our passion for the next challenge.
About Featured
Getting on the podium is not magic. It starts with showing up at the track when it is raining and perfecting your block starts during dry sessions. Whether you are aiming for your first school medal or preparing for national qualification, we focus on technical drills and consistent pacing that deliver results, not just hours of exercise.
Success on the track is built during every practice session. At Pro Athletes Academy, we focus on the technical side of athletics that many overlook: efficient sprint mechanics, explosive block starts, and the plyometric strength required for long-term injury prevention. Whether we are training at Priyadarshini Park in Malabar Hill or the Mumbai University Ground in Churchgate, our regimen is designed for athletes who are serious about competing.
Our program goes beyond just showing up. We use monthly time trials to track your speed progression, video analysis to refine your gait, and specialized strength training in the gym to build the power needed for 100m, 200m, or 400m events. We welcome athletes from U/12 juniors to university-level competitors and even cricketers needing agility training. The goal is always the same: to turn your raw potential into podium-worthy performances. If you are ready to work through the rain and the sweat, we have a spot for you on the team.
