Portraits That Feel Like Home
You don't need a big reason to celebrate yourself. Let’s capture the quiet, honest moments that feel like home—from your favorite corners to the people and pets you love most.
A beautiful maternity portrait from last March. There is such a powerful and serene energy in these sessions, and I feel so honored to capture the beginning of a new life.
A simple, happy portrait with a beautiful golden retriever. The connection between people and their pets is so pure, and I love capturing that unconditional love.
A candid moment of joy with a friend and her cat. Her smile is so genuine, and it’s a beautiful reminder of the comfort our furry friends bring us.
A dreamy, motion-blur portrait from a 30th birthday celebration shoot. These sessions are about more than just photos; they are about celebrating you and your journey.
A black and white portrait of a woman whose warmth and kindness remind me of my own mother. Capturing the spirit of someone's mother is a truly special thing.
An artistic shot from my 'Doorways in Colour' series, capturing a friend through a reflection. These are the quiet, everyday moments that hold so much meaning.
A portrait of a friend in his home, a space filled with art and memories. Capturing people in their personal environment tells such a rich story.
A friend leaning against a doorway, with beautiful shadows falling across her. This is a perfect example of how natural light can paint a portrait.
A friend seen through a window, surrounded by the soft clutter of her creative life. These layers add so much depth and personality to a portrait.
A friend looking out a window at sunset. The warm glow of the sky is reflected in the glass, creating a beautiful, contemplative mood.
About Moments That Feel Like Home
Before we ever pick up a camera, we spend 45 minutes just talking. It is not a test; it is an ice-breaking chat to clear away the nerves so the shoot feels like hanging out with a friend, not a staged production. This way, the photos we take actually look like you, capturing the real energy between you and your loved ones.
Photography is not just about the final image for me; it is about the quiet, meaningful energy between us. I believe the best portraits are born from a space where you feel safe and seen.
Why these sessions work:
- No Staging: I prefer natural light and real, candid expressions over stiff, unnatural posing. Whether we are in your living room or a quiet outdoor spot like Lodhi Colony, the environment should add to your story, not distract from it.
- Pets are Family: If you want your dog in the frame, bring them along. Their unconditional love is the purest thing, and it often helps everyone relax and be their most genuine selves.
- Moody B&W vs. Warm Color: My style balances between two worlds. I love playing with deep shadows in black and white to capture raw, classic emotion. If we shoot in color, I lean into soft, natural light to keep the mood gentle and bright.
The Process
We will talk about what matters to you before we start. This could be a maternity session to mark a new chapter, a birthday celebration, or just a Tuesday afternoon when you want to feel beautiful. My goal is to make the experience feel less like a photoshoot and more like a collaboration. We will plan your outfits and the vibe beforehand so that on the day of the shoot, all you have to do is show up and be yourself. Everything else, from the lighting to the artistic direction, I handle with love.
