I move beyond the public persona to capture the quiet, honest truth. Let’s create a space where you can let your guard down and simply be yourself.

A behind the scenes moment with Kajol. The little girl in me who grew up watching her films in Assam could never have imagined this day. She is truly as gorgeous and full of life as you can imagine.

Malaika Arora in a stunning black gown. This shot captures her elegance and power, using a dramatic silhouette against a simple, warm backdrop.

A powerful, seated portrait of Malavika Mohanan. The lighting is focused to highlight her confident posture and intense gaze, creating a classic and timeless feel.

A striking black and white portrait of Ayushmann Khurrana. I love using high contrast to bring out the texture of the clothing and the subject's expressive features.

A quiet, contemplative portrait of Tahir Raj Bhasin. The warm, soft lighting and his sideways glance create a cinematic and introspective mood.

A black and white portrait of the incredible P.V. Sindhu. Even in a quiet moment away from the court, her focus and grace are undeniable.

Sharvari captured in a moment of effortless style. The clean lines of the architecture and the natural light complement her relaxed yet chic denim look.

Amyra Dastur in a beautiful gown, framed by a doorway. This portrait plays with classic elegance, using the setting to create a sense of drama and romance.

A close-up portrait of Anasuya Sengupta, capturing her strength and poise. The dramatic lighting and her direct gaze make this a powerful and intimate shot.

Isha Talwar in a vibrant, flowing dress. This portrait, taken outdoors, is all about capturing movement, color, and the feeling of being free in nature.

About Portraits of Icons

When I shoot public figures, the hardest part is getting them to forget the camera exists. My process starts with a mandatory 45-minute conversation before we even pick up a lens, which is the only way to build the trust needed to move past the 'star' image and capture the real, quiet human behind the headlines.
