Portraits That Capture the Soul
Photography isn't just about the face for me; it's about the story underneath. These portraits are my way of capturing the raw, quiet, and deeply human moments that often go unnoticed.
The incredible, heartwarming smile of an 'aaji' I met. This close-up shot in vibrant color captures the sheer happiness and life in her eyes, a moment of pure, unadulterated joy.
A portrait of an elderly flower seller, tired but resilient. This image tells the story of her day's hard work, sitting with her basket of marigolds, and captures a moment of quiet dignity.
A candid, side-profile shot of the 'aaji'. This black and white photo focuses on the beautiful textures of her wrinkled skin and her gentle smile, telling a story of a life fully lived.
A close-up portrait capturing a soft, downward glance. The focus is on the 'aaji's' expression, filled with a gentle warmth that makes this image incredibly touching and real.
A tender black and white portrait of a mother and her newborn son. Her gentle kiss on his cheek captures the profound and unconditional love of motherhood in its purest form.
An intimate moment between a mother and her baby, captured in monochrome. The way they gaze at each other speaks volumes, showcasing the powerful, unspoken bond they share.
About Portraits from the Heart
When I shoot, I don't use heavy studio setups that make you feel like you are on a runway. I prefer natural light or simple, portable equipment to keep things relaxed. Whether we are shooting at your home or an outdoor spot that means something to you, my goal is to help you forget the camera is there so we can find the real you.
Every person has a unique story, and my process is built around uncovering that. I use a Sony A7iii with 35mm or 50mm Sigma Art lenses, which helps me isolate you from the background and focus on the emotions in your eyes.
I play with light and shadow to match your mood—sometimes it is soft and airy, and other times it is dramatic, using portable RGB lights for a cinematic feel. If you have a specific vision, like a traditional Maharashtrian look or a modern, artistic theme, I am here to help guide the posing and planning.
My packages are straightforward because I want you to focus on the experience, not the logistics. A typical solo session lasts about 3 hours, giving us enough time to get comfortable and try different angles without feeling rushed. You receive 20-25 high-resolution, professionally retouched images within 7-10 days. I also include raw video clips that you can use for your own reels or stories. Whether it is an individual portrait, a couple's shoot, or something deeply personal, we will work together to create something that feels honest and timeless.
