Stripping away the noise to find the raw, honest version of you. My black and white work is all about shadows, light, and the quiet truth.

The cover shot for my 'Doorways' series. For me, this image of a woman with her luggage represents the start of a journey, a search for warmth and home in a new city.

A powerful portrait of two friends, Amira and Anahita. Their strong, united stance in this black and white photo speaks volumes about their connection and shared journey.

A tender moment between a woman and a cat. Black and white photography enhances the feeling of quiet connection and the simple joy found in these chance encounters.

A direct and honest black and white portrait. This is from my 'Ignite' series, where I aimed to capture the unfiltered presence of each woman I photographed.

A strong, androgynous look captured in black and white. The high-contrast lighting and graphic background make this a powerful and modern portrait.

A portrait taken in an industrial setting. The rawness of the location complements the subject's direct and unflinching gaze, creating a beautifully honest image.

A young man on a staircase railing in an underpass. The dark, moody environment and his contemplative pose give this black and white photo a cinematic feel.

A moment of spontaneous laughter. Even in black and white, the joy is palpable. These are the authentic moments I love to capture.

A quiet portrait in a large, empty space. The soft light and her thoughtful expression create a sense of introspection and calm.

A candid black and white portrait of Amira Gill. The movement in her hair and her natural expression make the photo feel alive and unstaged.

About Soulful in Monochrome

Before we ever pick up a camera, we spend forty-five minutes just talking. No lights, no lenses, just us. This ice-breaking session is part of every Signature B&W booking because the truest photos happen only when you stop thinking about the camera. It is how we ensure what we capture is actually you.

There is a quiet honesty in black and white photography that color sometimes misses. When I strip away the distraction of hue, I am looking for the shape of a smile, the texture of a gaze, or the way shadows fall on a wall in a quiet Lodhi Colony lane. My approach to these sessions is not about posing you perfectly. It is about creating a space where you can let your guard down.

Whether we are shooting in my home-style studio in Delhi or finding a quiet outdoor corner, my priority is the atmosphere. We use professional strobes for that crisp, high-contrast look or natural light when we want something soft and fleeting. I want these portraits to feel like they belong to a timeless album, not just a social media feed.

If you are coming to me for these images, know that I am looking for the unsaid parts of your story. I have photographed icons, artists, and friends, but the process is always the same: we talk, we find the rhythm, and we capture the truth of who you are right now. From the initial concept to the final fine-art retouching, my goal is to give you something that feels like home.
