For weddings and sangeet nights, I focus on the sing-along experience, not just performing a setlist. Whether you need a solo acoustic session for a cozy mehendi or a full four-piece band for the dance floor, I ensure the playlist is tailored to your crowd. Note that for the full-band setup, I require the venue to provide the main PA system, while I bring all my instruments and backline gear.
Every wedding has its own rhythm. My approach is to read the room and match that energy, whether that means keeping things soft and soulful with just my guitar or turning up the volume with a full live band for the sangeet. I love mixing Bollywood hits with Kannada favorites like 'Bombe helutaite' to ensure every guest feels connected to the music.
My Wedding & Sangeet Setup Options
- Solo Acoustic: Perfect for intimate mehendi ceremonies, anniversaries, or the pheras. It’s just me and my guitar, creating a warm, personal atmosphere.
- Unplugged Duo: Adding a percussionist gives a rhythmic punch to your event. This works well for engagements or cocktail nights where you want high energy without the full band volume.
- Full Bollywood Band: For the big stage, I bring a four-piece setup including drums, bass, and keys. This is for when you really want the party to take off and get everyone dancing.
Technical & Logistics
I am Bangalore-based but love a good road trip for outstation weddings. For my full-band performances, I bring my own instruments, but I do need the venue to provide the main PA system (speakers and monitors). If you choose the solo acoustic package, I bring my own portable gear, which is perfect for groups under 40. I usually arrive 30 to 90 minutes early depending on the setup, ensuring everything is sound-checked before your guests arrive. If you have specific songs you want to hear, just let me know beforehand and we will make it happen.
