From high-energy Sangeet nights to soulful cocktail hours, I bring the right sound for every moment of your wedding. Let’s create a musical backdrop that feels like you.

Kicking off my Punjabi folk wedding series with 'Matthe te Chamkan Waal'. This classic song is perfect for a Mehendi or Haldi, and it always makes the elders in the family smile.

Another gem from the Punjabi folk tradition, 'Latthey di Chaadar'. These songs have a raw, beautiful essence that brings an authentic cultural feel to wedding celebrations.

Setting the perfect vibe for a Mehendi ceremony. A mix of folk and upbeat acoustic songs gets everyone in a celebratory mood.

A live performance of the Sufi hit 'Saiyyan' with my tabla player. This kind of soulful music is perfect for creating a sophisticated and mellow atmosphere during a cocktail or reception event.

A live Sufi and Ghazal night is perfect for an intimate gathering. Here's a clip of 'Hoshwalon ko Khabar Kya', where the harmonium and tabla create a classic, timeless feel.

A live acoustic cover of 'Chand Baliyan' at a Diwali party. This soft, romantic song is a crowd favorite and works beautifully for a relaxed cocktail hour or a welcome dinner.

Bringing the energy with 'Slow Motion Angreza' at a private party in Delhi. This kind of upbeat Bollywood track is great for a Sangeet night to get everyone on their feet.

About Music for Every Celebration

For Sangeet and Mehendi nights, I focus on building a setlist that actually gets guests moving rather than just playing background tracks. I mix old-school Punjabi folk like 'Latthey di Chaadar' with high-energy Bollywood hits, and I always keep the rhythm flexible so we can adapt the vibe based on the energy of the room.

Whether you need an acoustic duo for an intimate Roka or a full ensemble to keep the dance floor packed at your Sangeet, my goal is to match the music to the mood of the room. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all playlists. My Mehendi sets often lean into traditional Punjabi folk and Sufi elements, which creates a warm, celebratory atmosphere that works for all generations. For later in the evening or at cocktails, I shift into retro Bollywood and acoustic covers that allow for conversation while maintaining a great vibe.

I typically work with a 3 to 4-piece band, including a flutist and a percussionist, though I can scale this down depending on your venue size and budget. I always recommend a sound check at least 60 minutes before the event to ensure everything sounds crisp. I provide the artist gear, but for larger venues, I will ask you to arrange the PA system. If you want something specific, like a particular song for your entry or a family performance, tell me in advance so we can rehearse it properly. Music is the thread that ties a wedding together, and I want to make sure your ceremony has the right soundtrack.
