About this collection
I am big on shoe rotation. I use my Adizero Pro 3s for speed sessions because they are responsive and fast, but I switch to Supernova Rise for daily training to keep my legs fresh. Before you commit to a new pair, make sure you know if you are a heel striker or a midfoot runner, as that changes which model will actually support your specific stride.
Finding the right gear is part of the training process, not just an afterthought. I have gone through many pairs of shoes training for events like the TCS10K and various marathons, and I have learned that different shoes serve different purposes. For interval sessions and track days, I reach for my Adizero Pro 3s because they are lightweight and responsive. When I am doing daily mileage, I prefer the Supernova Rise for that Dreamstrike+ cushioning and support, especially since I am a heel striker myself. For recovery runs, the Ultraboost Light is my go-to for comfort and energy return.
It is not just about the shoes. Accessories like my Craycol sunglasses have become staples for my outdoor runs here in Bangalore. They are polarized, anti-slip, and UV-protected, which makes a huge difference on those bright, long runs when you need to focus on your pace rather than fighting the sun.
My advice to any runner is to treat your gear as part of your support system. Whether you are prepping for a 5K or a full marathon, you need gear that allows you to train consistently without injury. If you have questions about how to build your shoe rotation, or if you need advice on what gear actually helps with race-specific prep, feel free to reach out. Let’s make sure you are set up to run safely and comfortably.
