Our street dogs are more than just survivors. Whether you want to highlight a rescue's journey to a forever home or celebrate your own Indie's spirit, I focus on capturing the personality behind the breed.

The soulful eyes of a shy puppy hoping for a home. I use a close-up perspective to create an intimate connection and show the vulnerability and sweetness of rescue animals.

This little Indie pup standing bravely on the side of the road. My goal with adoption photos is to capture their spirit and potential, helping people see the amazing companion they could be.

The classic head tilt! Even a shy street puppy can't resist a funny noise. This simple trick helps bring out their personality for their adoption portfolio.

The intense, intelligent gaze of an Indie dog. Their eyes tell so many stories, and I strive to capture that depth and soul in my portraits.

An Indie dog peeking around a corner with a happy, panting smile. These dogs are so resilient and full of joy, and it's a privilege to photograph them.

A little elf-dog peeking out of a window in Goa. I love capturing street dogs in their environment, telling a small story about their daily lives.

The same curious dog, now peeking through a stone balustrade. Street dogs are masters of observation, and I love turning the camera back on them.

A backward glance from an Indie dog in a garden. This shot captures a fleeting moment of connection and curiosity.

Elfie, an adventurous Indie, enjoying a boat ride in Goa. This shows that our desi dogs are up for any adventure!

Elfie looking out at the mangroves, a true explorer. It was a joy to spend the day with her and her family, capturing their adventures.

About The Heart of the Street: Indie Dogs & Rescues

My sessions for rescues and Indie dogs are never rushed because their comfort is the absolute priority. I don't force them into stiff poses; instead, I bring treats, a few squeaky toys, and a lot of patience, waiting for that moment when they finally feel safe enough to show their true, beautiful character.
