Adoption & Rescue Photography in Bangalore

About Paws for a Cause: Adoption & Rescue Stories
Taking a great photo of a shelter dog is not just about the lighting. It is about catching that one glimmer of hope in their eyes when they finally feel safe. These sessions are usually fast and full of movement, but my goal is to get that one specific expression that tells their story and helps them find their family.
My work with rescue groups is the part of my photography that fills my cup more than anything else. When I head out to a shelter or meet a litter of highway rescues, I am not looking for a perfect, posed studio shot. I am looking for the personality.
I have spent time with the Bangalore Cat Squad, photographed countless highway rescue puppies, and worked with organizations like Freagles of India. Every shoot is different because every animal is different. Sometimes, I am crawling on the ground to get at eye level with a puppy like Vera or Goose. Other times, I am trying to capture the calm, soulful look of a dog like Zoey who is waiting for her second chance.
These photos serve a specific purpose: they act as the first handshake between these pets and their potential adopters. When you scroll through these images, you are not just seeing a picture. You are seeing a 40-day-old survivor, a 'nutty' rescue who loves to run zoomies, or a gentle soul who just needs a quiet place to sleep.
If you represent a rescue organization or a shelter, please reach out. I am always happy to donate my time to help these incredible animals find the home they deserve. We do not need a perfect environment. We just need the pets, some treats, and a bit of patience to let their true selves shine through.
