How I Bring Rajasthan To Bangalore
- I direct full-on cultural productions with my group, not just the usual stuff. Think of "Padharo Mhare Des" - a big celebration with 16 artists, mixing contemporary with old-school folk.
- My heart beats for Kalbelia dance performance. I grew up with this soulful style - wild spins, real hand-woven costumes, all done the way Kalbelia families have always done.
- I offer Ghoomar dance workshop sessions for everyone, even total newbies. We don’t just learn steps; we dive into the music and let go, exploring the spiritual side of Ghoomar.

My team, my 'Baisa's', bring every show to life. We dress in vibrant, traditional Rajasthani costumes - poshaks and bold jewelry - and the lighting sets the mood. You don’t just watch, you feel like you’re inside Rajasthan for a while.

My Story
I’m Pooja, and my life’s been a wild mix of Zumba, belly dance, and chasing my Rajasthani roots. Those Kalbeliya women—pure magic, yaar. Dreamt of dancing like them since I was a kid. When I did 'Padharo Mhare Des', with 16 artists and a standing ovation, it hit different. Art’s taught me patience, showing up even when it’s tough. Abhi toh journey shuru hui hai (Now, the journey has just begun).
My Work
Dance & Movement Training - I teach Rajasthani folk (Ghoomar, Kalbelia), Jazz, and movement coaching. Also, Pilates for pre and post-natal.
Cultural Dance Experience - My Ghoomar and Kalbelia sessions focus on authentic moves and real storytelling. It’s about sharing my culture.
