About this collection

You do not need a background in dance to walk through these doors. My sessions at Dside Fitness Studio in Indiranagar are built for beginners who want to learn jazz basics without the pressure of perfection, focusing on technique and the freedom to express yourself through motion.

Whether you are here for a single 2-hour workshop or joining our monthly 8-session jazz training, the focus remains the same: vishvaas, or belief in your own rhythm. My classes blend structured ballet-based jazz fundamentals—like pliés, tendus, and isolations—with the soul-led expression that makes jazz so liberating.

What You Will Learn

We break down the technical side of jazz, including corner work for turns, kicks, and jazz walks. But we do not stop at the steps. The goal is to build stamina and confidence while learning how to connect movement to music. For those in the monthly cohort, we spend four weeks focusing on progressive technique and choreography, allowing you to internalize the rhythm and flow.

The Studio Experience

Located at Dside Fitness in Indiranagar, our studio provides the necessary space with sprung wooden floors and floor-to-ceiling mirrors, essential for spotting your lines and posture. You will receive real-time feedback during every session, and we often wrap up by recording a group performance. This is not just about learning a routine; it is about cultivating a community where we celebrate the process and the awkward breakthroughs together.
