About My Regular Jazz Batch
We keep the group size between 15 and 25 students, which is that sweet spot where you get plenty of floor space and still feed off the energy of everyone else in the room. You won't just be learning steps; we train in a proper studio with professional sprung wooden flooring, so we can drill your turns, jumps, and core technique without you needing to worry about your knees or impact.
Building Your Foundation
This isn't just about learning a routine and calling it a day. In my regular batch, we dive into the jazz vocabulary—isolations, across-the-floor drills, turns, and kicks. We break down the mechanics of the movement so you understand how your body works, rather than just copying me. It’s perfect if you’re a beginner looking for structured jazz dance training or if you’ve danced before and want to sharpen your technique.
The Batch Vibe
We meet every Tuesday and Thursday at Big Dance Centre. The 60-75 minute sessions are designed to be high-energy. We start with a solid warm-up, move into drills, and spend the second half working on fun, upbeat combos. I really focus on giving personalized feedback during these sessions. Even in a group setting, I make sure to keep an eye on your lines, posture, and movement quality.
Content & Growth
I love capturing our progress, so we do end-of-class filming sessions. We use professional lighting setups, so you get high-quality videos of the combos we learn to share on your feed. It’s all part of the process of building your confidence and seeing how far you’ve come.
