Behind the Lens: My Studio Process and Safety
Step inside my Jhotwara studio to see how I create those calm, magical moments. It is all about keeping your little one safe and happy while we tell your family’s unique story.
People ask why I work so hard. Because it's not work when your passion becomes your profession. I love every moment of creating these memories with you.
It takes a village! Here's a fun behind-the-scenes look at the family's efforts to make the baby smile during a cake smash session. It's all part of the fun.
Why do we need the baby to sleep? For those peaceful poses! But we also capture the cute crying faces and then I patiently soothe them back to sleep.

About My Studio & Process: A Peek Behind the Lens
You might wonder why I block out two hours for a simple newborn shoot. It is not because the actual posing takes that long; it is because your baby’s needs—feeding, changing, and soothing—are the priority. By keeping the studio warm and quiet, we let the baby lead the session, ensuring they are relaxed enough to fall into those naturally peaceful, curled-up poses you see in my gallery.
Photography with infants requires a different pace. In my Jhotwara studio, I operate on the philosophy that happy babies make the best photos, and you cannot rush a happy baby. When you arrive, the space is already prepped—warmed to the right temperature for a swaddled infant, with soft lighting and zero distractions.
My process is collaborative. I spend the first part of our session helping you and your baby get comfortable, often using white noise or gentle rocking to help them settle into a deep sleep. This is when we capture those classic, 'potato sack' wrapped shots that look so serene.
For older babies and toddlers, the studio becomes a playground. We might start with a shy, observant phase, but with a few props, some music, or just family laughter, we quickly get to the giggles. Whether we are setting up a fairy-tale theme or a clean, classic portrait, I am there to guide the posing without forcing it. Parents often ask about the effort involved in cake smashes or cultural shoots—it really takes a village! You will often see me, the parents, and siblings working together behind the scenes, making funny faces or singing songs to get that one genuine, toothless smile. That is the magic of the process. It is about patience, safety, and capturing the love, or as I like to say, jahan pyaar shuru hota hai.
