About Our Swimming Community
One thing you will notice right away is how we manage pool traffic. We do not just put everyone in the same lanes; we use strict skill-based segregation, so beginners in our 'Splash' group never feel crowded by advanced swimmers training for competitions. It keeps the water safer for everyone and makes your own practice much more focused.
Building Skills in a Safe Space
At PM Swimming Centre, we view the pool as a place for personal growth. We understand that walking into a pool for the first time can be intimidating, which is why our coaching philosophy is built on clear progression. We do not use a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, we assess your current comfort level and place you in a batch that aligns with your specific goals, whether that is overcoming a fear of water or refining your stroke technique for a triathlon.
Our Jayanagar Facility
We operate out of our Jayanagar facility, which features both a 50m Olympic-sized pool and a 25m warm-up pool. Water quality is maintained through strict filtration standards, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin. We keep the environment controlled and hygienic so you can focus entirely on your movement and technique.
Coaching Approach
Our head coach Neelkanth, alongside our senior coaches Prashanth and Anil, leads a team that prioritizes hands-on instruction. We maintain a coach-to-student ratio of roughly 1:10 to 1:12. This ensures that you receive the attention needed to fix your kick, correct your body position, or understand breathing rhythm. This is not just about logging laps; it is about learning the mechanics of swimming so you can move efficiently and confidently. Whether you are joining our summer camps, our competitive performance training, or our medical swim access batches, the goal remains the same: to help you discover what you are capable of in the water.
