About Personalized Story Toppers
Creating these toppers is a slow process. Because I hand-sculpt everything from scratch without using moulds, I need about 48 to 72 hours for the sugar paste to dry properly before delivery. This ensures your figurine stays upright, keeps its shape, and does not droop, even if it is a detailed scene like a dad on his favorite sofa or a fitness setup with tiny weights.
Whether it is a milestone birthday or a farewell surprise, a standard cake can feel generic. My personalized toppers add the 'who' to the celebration. I start by looking at your inspiration—photos, doodles, or just a vibe you want to capture—and work backward to recreate those details in edible form.
Process and Materials
I work with high-quality sugar paste blended with Tylose, which helps the figures retain their structure. For larger projects like a couple figurine or a detailed workspace scene, I use food-grade dowels for support. While the figures are fully edible, they are often dried to a firm, candy-like texture so they can be kept as keepsakes, provided you store them in a cool, dry place.
How to Order
If you have a scene in mind—like a corporate MD at a podium, a golfer on the green, or even a mini version of your pet—send me the references. I do not use moulds, so every facial expression, clothing fold, and accessory (like tiny samosas or gym gear) is shaped by hand. This level of detail takes time, so please reach out a few days before your event so I can dedicate the necessary focus to your topper.
