Large-Scale Edible Landscapes and Farm Designs
We transform villas, farmhouses, and large properties into productive, self-sustaining ecosystems. Our approach blends aesthetic landscape design with the functional bounty of a working organic farm.
This video introduces three key trends we incorporate into our large-scale designs: Foodscaping, which integrates edible plants aesthetically; Rain Gardens, for sustainable water management; and Water Bodies, which enhance the micro-climate and biodiversity of your land.

About Large-Scale Edible Landscapes
When we design for larger spaces, we prioritize long-term soil health and water management from day one. We don't just plant; we integrate permanent infrastructure like automated drip irrigation, heavy-duty raised beds, and trellises for climbers so your orchard or kitchen plot thrives with minimal intervention.
Building a Self-Sustaining Garden
Designing a large-scale landscape goes beyond just aesthetics. We focus on creating a functional ecosystem where every element—from the fruit trees to the soil microbes—works together.
Our Technical Approach
- Structural Planning: For terrace projects, we conduct a structural load assessment to ensure your building can safely support the weight of wet soil and mature plants.
- Soil Management: We use high-volume, lightweight soil mixes fortified with perlite and coco-peat. We enrich the land with natural inputs like Jeevamrut and organic compost to ensure nutrient density without synthetic chemicals.
- Automated Irrigation: Efficiency is key. We install battery-operated drip irrigation timers to deliver water directly to the roots, reducing evaporation and water waste. This is essential for maintaining large orchards or vegetable patches during the dry season.
- Infrastructure: We construct raised brick-mortar beds or fabricated troughs that provide proper drainage and prevent waterlogging, which is a common cause of plant failure in our climate.
The Foodscaping Concept
We believe your garden should work for you. By practicing 'foodscaping,' we integrate edible plants—like Guava, Pomegranate, and local seasonal vegetables—directly into your landscape design. You do not need to separate your ornamental garden from your kitchen garden. We use companion planting strategies to naturally manage pests and improve yield, creating a vibrant, productive, and low-maintenance space. Whether you are in a farmhouse in Karjat or a villa in the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, our goal is to build a garden that connects you to the source of your food.
