One thing I always tell parents is that you don't need to stress about looking perfect or holding the right pose. Whether we are in my Mulund studio or out in nature, the best moments happen when you are interacting with each other, like the way you look at your partner, the excitement of siblings, or even the chaos of a pet. Just be yourselves, and I will handle the rest.
Why I Love Including Everyone
A maternity or family session isn't just about the bump. It is about the 'first baby' of the house—your dog, the relationship between siblings, and the quiet support of a partner. I have spent years photographing families, and my favorite shots are always the ones where nobody is looking at the camera.
My Approach to Family Sessions
- The 'No-Pose' Method: We won't be standing stiffly. We will walk, talk, and play. I want to capture the heartbeat of your family dynamic, not a manufactured version of it.
- Pets are Welcome: Whether you have a Shih Tzu or a golden retriever, your furry family members are a huge part of your story. Bring them along, and we will make them part of the frame.
- Location Flexibility: I offer a home studio in Mulund West for those who prefer controlled comfort, and outdoor nature spots across Mumbai and Thane for families who want that open-air, golden-hour magic.
Preparing for Your Session
Don't worry about being 'photo ready.' If the kids are messy or the dog is energetic, that is fine. Those are the memories you will want to look back on years from now. I provide styling advice and have a client closet for mothers, so you can focus on simply being present with your family while I capture the magic.
