My heritage sessions are deeply inspired by the regal style of Raja Ravi Varma. We focus on rich traditional sarees, vintage brass props, and lighting that mimics the soft glow of oil paintings. These sessions are perfect if you want to honour your roots while celebrating the arrival of your little one. In my Mulund West studio, we set the stage with hand-painted canvas backdrops to ensure every detail feels authentic and timeless.
Digital Magic & Watercolour Edits
Sometimes, a photograph needs a little extra magic to match how you feel inside. I use digital compositing to add elements like butterflies, misty light, or fireflies. Alternatively, if you prefer something softer, I can transform your standard high-resolution portraits into digital watercolour paintings. These make for stunning wall art that feels less like a typical photo and more like a captured feeling.
The Process
- Conceptualisation: Before the shoot, we decide on the vibe. Do you want something moody and dramatic, or light and airy?
- The Session: Whether it’s in my studio or a nature spot, we keep it relaxed. You don't need to pose stiffly; just be present, and I will handle the rest.
- Artistic Retouching: This is where the magic happens. I spend time hand-editing each chosen image, adjusting textures and tones to achieve that signature fine art finish.
