About Creative & Conceptual Art
Real conceptual photography is a full production. I spend days building mood boards and coordinating with makeup artists who know how to work with body paint, prosthetics, and intricate glitter placement. When you book a creative session, we aren't just chasing a pretty image. We are working with RGB gels, custom lighting setups, and specific framing to ensure the final edit looks like it came straight out of a magazine.
The Process Behind the Art
My creative shoots are deeply collaborative. We start with a conversation to define the 'ishq' behind the concept. Is it a dark, gothic aesthetic, or something ethereal like a celestial galaxy shoot? Once we have the theme, I handle the technical side. I use high-end lighting techniques, often mixing dramatic studio strobes with colored gels, to carve out depth in the shadows.
Why Conceptual Matters
Many people want portraits that stand out. Standard lighting does not cut it when you are working with complex props like custom headgear, ornate body paint, or heavy makeup. My production process includes professional skin retouching and careful post-processing to ensure the effects, like the stardust or the glow, look seamless.

- Pre-Production: Every shoot requires a consultation to align on props and makeup. If you have specific ideas, we incorporate them during this stage.
- Styling: I often partner with skilled makeup artists. If you have someone you trust, bring them. If not, I can suggest professionals who specialize in fantasy looks.
- Editing: These sessions include high-end, detailed retouching. You are not just getting color-corrected files. You are getting images where we have manipulated light and texture to match the vision we built.
- Comfort: These shoots can be intense, lasting up to four hours. We take our time to get the angles and expressions perfect.
