A forest shoot isn't just about finding a nice tree; it’s about managing shifting daylight and keeping kids engaged amidst the distractions of nature. I often say, 'thoda bahar jaana,' directing movement to catch that unscripted laugh or a glance that feels truly honest. My process is slow and patient, prioritizing your comfort over the clock.
Photography is an investment in memories, but it is also a complex production. When you see a single portrait of a baby in a Krishna outfit or a family running through the forest, you are seeing the result of hours of preparation that happens long before the shutter clicks.
The Reality of Outdoor Shoots
Nature is my favorite studio, but it requires flexibility. We deal with changing light, wandering spectators, and the need to keep toddlers happy while we wait for that perfect second. I handle the logistics—finding the right spot, setting up props, and managing the family—so you can simply focus on being with your loved ones. It is about capturing the connection between you and your child, not just getting them to look at the camera.
