Coordinated Family and Couple Outfits
From twinning festival kurtas to perfectly paired wedding ensembles, I design coordinated outfits that celebrate your family's unique bond.
A heartwarming father-daughter moment. I designed these twinning outfits for Diwali, featuring a bottle green mul mul kurta with leather embroidery for dad and a matching mini version for my daughter, Aarriya.
A mother and her mini-me celebrating Diwali in style. I created these coordinated tomato red outfits, featuring a peplum kurta for mom and a matching peplum with tulip pants for her daughter.
An adorable, candid moment between mother and daughter in their matching red peplum sets. Creating these coordinated memories is one of the most joyful parts of my work.
Twinning in elegant white. This mother-daughter duo is wearing custom hand-painted floral kurta sets, perfect for a puja, family gathering, or any daytime occasion.
Another view of the lovely mother and daughter in their matching white and pink floral outfits. The design is elegant, timeless, and can be customized for any family members.
About this collection
I do not just shrink adult patterns to fit the little ones. I personally adjust the embroidery scale and fabric weight for every child, ensuring they stay comfortable throughout your event while still perfectly matching the richness of the adult outfits.
Designing for families requires a balance between aesthetic harmony and actual comfort. When you come to the studio with ideas for a coordinated set, we start by selecting base fabrics that feel good on the skin—like soft mul mul for long festival days or breathable Moonga silk for evening functions.
My approach to twinning is collaborative. You might have a vision from a Pinterest board or a sketch on a napkin, and I help translate that into a reality that fits everyone. For couples, I often suggest using the same embroidery motifs—like our signature Zardosi or delicate thread work—on the groom’s collar and the bride’s blouse to create a cohesive look that is not overly identical.
For parents and children, the focus shifts to functionality. Kids need to run and play, so I ensure the embroidery is placed where it won't scratch or restrict movement. Whether it is matching father-daughter kurta sets with leather applique or mother-daughter peplum sets, I send you sketches and fabric swatches so you are part of the process from the very first stitch. We can work with any theme, from traditional ethnic wear to modern fusion styles, ensuring your family looks unified for your special occasion.
