The secret to family coordination isn't matching every single thread, but syncing the color palette and fabric weight so everyone looks harmonious in photos. When I work with families, I prioritize choosing base fabrics that drape similarly across different age groups, like silk for the adults and soft cotton-lined silk for the little ones, so the coordinated look feels balanced rather than forced.

I truly love the challenge of dressing a whole family. Whether it is a couple engagement shoot or a massive family wedding, the goal is always to create a cohesive look that lets everyone’s personality shine without clashing. I have had the absolute privilege of styling big, joyous celebrations—including dressing the Geeta Arts family—and it really taught me how to balance grand, opulent designs with comfort.
My Approach to Coordination

Color Synchronization: I don't believe in everyone wearing the exact same shade. Instead, I work with a master color palette. If the bride is wearing a deep maroon, I might suggest the groom wears an off-white sherwani with maroon embroidery, and the rest of the family uses accents of that same maroon in their borders or stoles. It looks much more sophisticated.

Fabric Consistency: This is where the magic happens. For outdoor events in Bangalore, we might choose lighter silk blends for the whole family so you aren't sweating through your photos. For evening events, we can go heavier with the Maggam work.

The Personal Touch: I love adding little details that tie people together. Maybe it is the same 3D floral motif on the groom’s pocket square that matches the bride’s blouse sleeve, or specific family symbols embroidered into the hem of your outfits. These small, thoughtful additions make the set feel truly unique to you.
