About Behind the Lens: My Process & Stories
I never rush the first few minutes of a shoot. Whether your dog is busy exploring new smells or your cat is hiding, I take that time to let them settle in. We use this space to get them comfortable with me, so by the time we start the actual portraits, they see the lens as just another part of playtime.
My sessions are designed to be an experience, not just a photo shoot. If your pet is energetic or shy, we let them set the pace. I always bring a pocket full of treats and plenty of time, because forcing a pose never captures that alive feeling. Whether we are at your home in Hyderabad, a park in Delhi, or a beach in Bangalore, the location is chosen based on where your pet feels most like themselves. Dealing with uncooperative pets is actually my specialty. Those moments when a dog ignores a command or a cat goes rogue? That is exactly when the real, raw magic happens. I focus on capturing the belly laughs, the curious tilts, and the quiet companionship. For senior pets, we focus on slow, gentle sessions with plenty of breaks. For the energetic puppies, we play until they are ready to sit still. Every session is unique to your pet's personality.
