Photography is only half the battle when working with pets. The real secret to a pawsome session is patience and reading the room—or the park. When I bring my mobile studio to your home, I use Godox strobe lighting and portable backdrops to transform your living room into a professional setup. It is all about controlled comfort.

My process usually looks like this:

• The Setup: I arrive early to get the lighting right and let your pet sniff out the equipment. This helps them realize that the camera is just another part of the fun.
• The Interaction: I keep things loose. If your dog wants to run, we run. If they prefer belly rubs, we get those close-ups. I use treats to keep their attention, but I never force a pose.
• The Pop-ups: You might have seen me at stores like Just Dogs. These sessions are faster and high-energy, perfect for getting a quick, high-quality portrait while you shop.

Whether we are doing a cake smash at home or an outdoor adventure, my goal remains the same: capturing the real bond you share with your pet. I avoid rigid, forced poses because those rarely show your pet's true personality. Instead, I focus on the candid, happy moments that actually mean something to you.
